The Mormon Pacific
Historical Society has four stated purposes:

Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Pacific Basin
area.

gather in conferences and workshops to teach and to learn from
each other about Latter-day Saint history in the Pacific.

teach those skills helpful in the gathering and recording of historical
information.

2008 MPHS
conference
The MPHS annual conference was held March 21-22, 2008, with keynote guest speaker Rangi Parker from New Zealand on Friday night. The Saturday session included a report on the 2007 Uho 'o Tonga reunion in Tonga, the Maori Agricultural College (Ken Baldridge), a New Zealand labor missionary panel discussion, Dr. Jerold Ottley's missionary choir experience, a CCNZ faculty panel discussion, and more.
